- WAMPAC Concept Design:
Our team of expert advisors were retained to develop a fit-for-purpose Wide Area Monitoring, Protection and Control (WAMPAC) system concept design, to detect early signs of Low-Frequency-Oscillations for a Renewable Energy Zone (REZ). Using their expertise and practical experience in power system design and operations, the team developed proprietary algorithms and control logic. Our client benefitted from a full service providing engineering requirements for concept control schemes, equipment and software evaluation and testing as well as a suite of testing programs from concept evaluation to post energisation. - Network Energy Management System:
Devbase were engaged to develop a strategy and business case for an Energy Management System (EMS) for a new network. Devbase stood up an Owners project team of Devbase Power Systems & Operational Technology SMEs to undertake the development of operational requirements specification necessary to enable the client to undertake market engagement for the procurement of an EMS. The project documented Operational user case scenarios, Control Room requirements specification together with the engagement included a risk analysis on the business case and engaged with our client’s SMEs.
