Our Electricity Transmission client, is undergoing a 5 fold scale up of its Network Business Development team responsible for the connection and project development of new Grid Customer connections in the face of the Energy Transition. Devbase were requested to support the uplift in the Project Development teams through a structured business strategy and planning approach.
Our Executive Advisor supported the client by facilitating the development of a Project Development Strategy together with three of its regional managers. The Strategy development and embeddment was established over a 6 month period . Initial strategy development commenced with facilitation of weekly management workshops and whiteboard sessions to map pain points in the Network Customer Grid Connection experience and then overlay the internal business constraints and challenges with extant processes and systems.

Our advisor team was expanded following development of the strategy and terms of reference to facilitate the development of actions plans, uplift process documentation and coach and develop team members in the embedment phase.
The staged approach (5 stages) allowed the client to see change developed and implemented and approve funding in an agile manner, assuring value was delivered throughout the change program.
